The goal for the “Breakfast Club” is to create a safe space for healing and personal growth/empowerment through the transformative power of group dynamics. We will practice the art of compassionate listening and authentic sharing and connection. The hope is that a strong internal support community will be formed where we can lean on each other for support during times where we need some extra help. Being artists and performers makes us open and susceptible to feeling things more intensely. The “Breakfast Club” will be a place where we can process and increase our depth and self awareness which can help us lead more full and healthy lives, as well as only add to our abilities as artists.

Marissa Harrington-Dominguez, a licensed psychotherapist, will be facilitating a free group at Harrington Arts Alliance on Tuesdays from 8:00pm-9:00pm, beginning Tuesday February 16th. This group counseling is offered free to Harrington Arts Alliance community members who have been involved in classes or shows through HAA. Marissa comes to us with fifteen years experience leading and participating in groups. Her background includes holistic/transpersonal counseling serving children, couples, families and individuals of all ages for the past twelve years as a licensed mental health therapist in both California and Colorado. Her main passion is to help others and is excited to offer this group to the HAA community who she has applauded since HAA’s opening. So come out on Tuesday evenings for some healing and sharing, and get ready for your life to change!
