Like Brandon and I had expressed last night, GODSPELL holds a very special place in both of our hearts. It also holds great history for us at HAA. Being our 100th live production at HAA this fall, we aren’t going to hold anything back. This will be unlike any other theatre experience you’ve had. Each actor will be given many moments to shine. There will be cast bonding, connecting, engaging, and creating. 

Although we didn’t have a dance audition, be ready to DANCE DANCE DANCE and sing with more heart and soul than you ever have. There will be many opportunities for dance solos as well, so stay tuned!

It was beautiful to witness the cheering and support you had for one another already. I can’t imagine how beautiful your bond will be by opening night. 

Our first cast meeting is Tuesday, September 7th at 6pm. Please bring a pencil, as we will need to divide out lines. Some songs have multiple soloists, so we will give out specific solo parts that night as well. I can’t reiterate enough how important EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU ARE. Please email : HAA@harringtonartsalliance.org to accept or decline your part by 7pm on August 21st, so I know how to split the parts. 

Those of you who did not make the cast, please know we appreciate the risk and confidence it takes to audition for a show. Come and audition for us again soon. We are doing PETER AND THE STARCATCHER in the winter, FIRST DATE in the spring, along with the straight play THE SHADOW BOX. There are so many opportunities to share for all ages. 

Congrats to everyone. GODSPELL will be a transformative journey for you all. I promise you this.
