President – Michael J. Suit, DVM

Michael enjoyed performing in several musicals during his high school experience.  He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Recreation and Tourism, and then completed a DVM degree at Colorado State University in 2006.  His love for horses has kept him busy caring for clients and their horses along the Front Range of Colorado ever since.

His involvement with HAA began out of a pinnacle moment one random afternoon at Harrington Arts Alliance (HAA), and after that he was hooked.  He and his fabulous wife, Kyla, are busy raising three very active children, and HAA has been a focal point of his family’s life for many years, a home away from home.   Both Michael and Kyla enjoy spending countless hours assisting in multiple aspects of HAA, and have found it to be a very special place for everyone in their family.   He hopes you and your family will visit HAA and attend a performance if you already have not had the opportunity to experience the “magic” within the walls of this amazing place.

Director of Communication – Michael Landreth

My personal goal is to make a profound impact in the lives of people by promoting wellness. I don’t just say this, I practice it! I have trained and produced content in communication psychology and instructional design since I started with Apple in 2013. Through my understanding of the human psyche I am able to help people and business teams reflect, identify and expand beyond the bounds they have created for themselves. My main tools for this are mindfulness and a contemplative approach to education and theater. I love reading Tarot cards and offering Reiki healing in my private practice as a way to help people refocus themselves and get the most out of their day. I am excited to contribute my time and energy to HAA because of my love for the Harrington family. They truly help people of all ages have a transformative relationship with theater and I am so thankful for the work they do.

Director of Operations – David Felts

David grew up in Ohio where he has been avid in the Performing Arts both on and off stage throughout his life through multiple community theatre and acting organizations.

David attended the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio while pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. After college David spent 8 years in the financial world working in Wealth Management and personal financial advisement in an array of roles.

David is not new to the Nonprofit world and has served in multiple capacities on non-profit boards throughout his career and hopes to bring his expertise to HAA to advance our goals for many years to come.

David moved to Colorado in 2015 to pursue his dream career in Law Enforcement in Denver, Colorado.

Director of Finance – Marily Harrington

Marily has a Masters Degree in Education and a BA in Liberal Studies and utilized her Multiple Subject Credential teaching in the San Francisco Bay Area for 18 years. She taught English, Drama, Self-Esteem Building and Decision Making classes to 5th through 8th graders, as well as directed 30 theatrical productions. Marily has designed and constructed costumes for Children’s Theatre, High School Theatre, College Theatre, and Community Theatre totaling over 50 productions. She is a master seamstress who also loves making jewelry, knitting with looms, and a variety of arts and crafts. Having written screenplays, stage plays for children, and performed as an actress and singer, Marily is an accomplished artist. Building self confidence in young people through creative expression has been a life goal, however her number one passion remains her family.

Director of Fundraising – Wendy Thompson

Wendy is a Physical Education and Health teacher for grades 9-12.  She has a Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sport Science from Colorado State University and a Master’s in Sports Psychology from Capella University.  Wendy has a strong passion for youth and is supportive of the arts.  She has coached and worked with fundraising for 18 years and brings new ideas to supporting our non-profit.

Her connection with HAA began when her daughter had a birthday party at HAA.  Her daughter then began taking classes and acting in various musicals.  Wendy fell in love with the atmosphere and the passion that HAA provides.  It is a safe place for all and she loves the relationships that the people build while being genuine and authentic individuals.  While her life has always revolved around athletics, she has expanded her passion to being a strong supporter and promoter of HAA.

Director of House – Kyla Suit

Director of Community Relations – Kelby Siegfried

Kelby had his first exposure to the Harrington Arts Alliance when he was teaching music and directing the drama program at a middle school in Loveland.  Since that time he has grown in his appreciation for everything that HAA stands for and is accomplishing throughout the Front Range community.

While attending the University of Northern Colorado to obtain a Bachelor’s of Music Education degree, Kelby performed with many top ensembles.  Kelby toured with the professional opera company Opera Classica Europa in Germany and France and marched with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from Rosemont, Illinois.

After obtaining his college degree Kelby taught for two years.  He then chose to pursue a career in law enforcement – something he has always had an interest in and is honored to do.  He continues to serve the Northern Colorado community in this capacity.  Kelby has performed on the HAA stage in several productions and has had the privilege of being the vocal director for multiple shows.  Kelby is actively involved with The Greeley Chorale and thoroughly enjoys attending the variety of performances and activities taking place at HAA.

Director of School Relations – Karla Quinones and Erin Scheck

Erin Scheck

Erin lives in Ft. Collins with her family.  She  has been an educator for the last 24 years.  She currently teaches 3rd grade at Ponderosa Elementary School in Thompson School District.   As an educator Erin sees all types of students with different strengths and needs.  Making sure that youth in the Loveland area have a place to shine that is outside of school is important to Erin,  HAA is a magical place that finds a way to make everyone feel special.

She is a Colorado native and loves spending time outside and enjoying all the beauty of our state.  She is married with 2 sons.  She sometimes feels that her second job is a taxi driver for her children.   One son in very sports- oriented and the other is very involved in theatre and HAA.  Before her son’s involvement in HAA she did not have much experience with the performing arts.  HAA has been transformational for her son who found “ his people” there.  She has felt so lucky to have a place for her son to grow in both his performing and in finding himself.   Erin hopes that everyone can get the chance to learn about and visit HAA in one way or another and meet the special people that call it home.

Karla Quinones

Karla Quinones received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and Theatre from Colorado State University and has been the theatre teacher at Mountain View High School for the past ten years. Director of Development – Kelly Schutte
“Loneliness and the feeling of being unwanted is the most terrible poverty” Mother Teresa
I am from a large Midwest family rooted in volunteering time and giving back.  I have been an avid actor, dancer and performer throughout my adult life, from touring the world with Up with People to participating in shows at Harrington Arts Alliance. (HAA) As a mother of four children who have been positively impacted by HAA, I feel passionate about this space because it is a place where all people can feel safe, wanted and welcome. I first became acquainted with HAA about 6 years ago when my oldest daughter performed in one of their musicals. Over the years my involvement at HAA has changed in many ways. From volunteering in the cafe, to performing in the shows, to helping behind the scenes and finally now, to accepting a position on the board. I am excited to be the Director of Development for Harrington Arts Alliance because I have seen the positive impact it has had on so many people over the years. I will be assisting in driving the future of HAA to continue to accomplish our dreams and goals.  I will build upon our community outreach, attaining sponsorships, donations and driving the capital campaign for our future HAA space in order to meet the needs of our growing community.
